From
15 October 2001 South Africa's premier magazines
will publish a monthly "Giveaways" page
every third week of the month. This is a
superb opportunity for you the advertiser
to gauge response of their brands in these
magazines. This is also an excellent opportunity
to introduce new brands to the market.

| Six
advertisers can be accommodated on a Full
Page. |
| The
advertiser pays 50% of the advertising space
and gives away product to the value of the
other 50% of the paid value. |

page has to be approved by the editors of
the various magazines. |

"Giveaways" page will appear on the Contents
page list. |
| Full
page lay-out will be done by the DTP department
in Johannesburg. |
| Normal
deadlines will be applicable. |
| Dates
to be reserved and co-ordinated with the relevant
sales assistants in Johannesburg and Cape
Town and also booked with booking co-ordinators
of each magazine in Cape Town. |
| One
page per month will appear every 3rd week
of the month. |

2. ADVERTISEMENT STRIPS |

|
Advertisement
strips are a cost effective method of reaching
your target market through South Africa's
premier magazines. Advertisement strips
can be placed at the bottom of the following
editorial pages:

pages
+ The "Stars"
pages
Strips
are 186mm x 9mm (with a 3mm bleed) on the
bottom of one full page.

PROMOTIONS |
 |
|
A
Promotion is clearly indicated on the top
of the page. It promotes a specific product
or service written by a journalist in the
editorial style of the magazine.
The
client gets two brand mentions, a pack shot
and contact telephone number. The client
has the benefit of getting editorial endorsement
for his brand in the magazine. This gives
huge credibility for his brand. The editor
must approve all copy and layout.

Advertorials
carry the credibility of editorial pages
which can be used for product endorsement

advertorial team and is then approved by
client. The client gets two brand mentions,
a pack shot and contact telephone numbers.

COMPETITIONS |

Competitions
