Why did Media24, the new owners of topCar, do this? Well, we believe South Africans with a passion for cars and car culture deserve a top-class publication that is beautifully photographed, expertly designed and, above all, well written without fear or favour.

The new topCar will give you the most insightful news and analysis as well as features and road tests from the world's best automotive writers and photographers. A licensing agreement with Emap, publishers of the renowned UK title Car, gives us access to some of the best automotive content on the planet.

We'll incorporate this into an original package with a distinctly South African voice that reflects our automotive lifestyle in Africa.
